Reduce, Reuse, Recycle that old sweater!

We've heard it thousands of times, Reduce, Reuse, Recycle! I have that solution for an old sweater you can't bare to toss out with the trash, because it's worn, has shrunk, or was a hideous gift from someone with good intentions. Well no matter what your sweater's previous life was you can give it a new life as something else.

Let's look at some ideas:

  • A pillow
  • A place mat
  • Draft stopper for a door or window
  • Tote bag
  • Seat cushion
  • Heat pack
  • Computer laptop, I pad, I Phone, I pod cover
  • coasters
  • a stuffed toy
  • Dog sweater


You don't even know how to sew you can use fabric glue to put these together, but I like sewing them I think it holds better.
